Deborah Kay Pratte, age 61, of Columbus, passed away peacefully at Mt. Carmel East Hospital on July 17, 2018. Deb was a good cook with a wry sense of humor. She had a creative mind, and often shared her talents with friends who were recipients of her handmade greeting cards. She is survived by her cherished son, Alex Pratte, whom she loved more than life; father, Richard Seelig; sisters, Carol Sweeney, Mary Wilburn, Elizabeth Bates and Katelyn Reese; several nieces, nephews and grandnieces. Preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Mont and Avanell Hollingsworth, Alvin and Lucile Seelig; mother, Kay Seelig and sister, Christine Seelig. A special thank you to Lorraine Lewis, Richard and Janet (deceased) Pratte and Marcia Strall who loved and cared for Deb and her son. Graveside Service and interment will be held 10:00 am Monday, August 20, 2018 at Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus, OH 43202. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Columbus Humane Society (www.columbushumane.org), 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Court, Hilliard, OH 43026, in her memory.
