Nanny-
there are a billion words I could sit here and write about you. I´ll keep it short. Though I know this message isn´t going directly to you, I´ll talk to you out in the open like I always do. It´s been 8 years since you left for Heaven, and boy, I hope it´s beautiful there. I hope you have tons of pretty rose bushes that bloom year round and never wilt. I hope you have an unlimited supply of biscuit ingredients that you share with everyone there. Lord knows, everyone deserved to taste a Nanny Biscuit. I miss `em a whole lot.
Eight years is a really long time being without my best friend, the pain has never left my heart. But what keeps me going is that I know you´re healthy again, you´re happy and in no more pain. Thank you for helping in making me the woman that I am today. Thank you for instilling that stubbornness and independence in me that drives the family crazy. I miss you bunches and bunches and I love you lots.

There are absolutely no words that anyone could say to make any of this easier for anyone. I am truly very sorry that she is gone and for the pain the family is in. Try to think of the fact that she is now truly happy and completely at peace. I also know Jim really wanted to be there and loved her very much as well as Hunter.
