Douglas Salisbury Obituary
Douglas K Salisbury, 69, passed away on May 20, 2021 in Louisville, KY. Douglas was born in Big Rapids, MI on July 25, 1951. He is predeceased by his father Ellis and his mother Dorothy. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Teri Salisbury; his sister, Karen (Bob) Salazar; his brother, Terry (Lisa) Salisbury; his sister, Kristy Whalen; his brother, James (Irena) Salisbury; his sister, Liz (Andy) Jones; his sister, Miriam Salisbury; his brother, Gershom Salisbury; his brother, John (Brandy) Salisbury; his five daughters, Kari (Jared) Klenke, Kelli (Ryan) Johnson, Ashly Salisbury, Rachel (Tim) Shindle, Paige Salisbury; and his six grandchildren, Savannah, Victoria, Miranda, Chandler, Sydney, and Drace.Doug was a Clinical Chaplain, ordained Bishop, Dementia Certified Practioner, and ACE Trainer. Memorial services will be performed at Life Church at Easton (5000 Sunbury Rd., Columbus, OH 43230) on Saturday, June 12 at 1pm with interment and a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trimble Cares Coalition at PO Box 340, Bedford, KY 40006.

Teri, I was just thinking about Doug yesterday. We have a roundabout in Powell by Salisbury Dr & I was on it. It´s still hard to think that he is gone from us. He was a wonderful co-worker at Lincare. Debby Russo

I first met Doug through the Trimble's Care Coalition. He was truly passionate about serving his community and about teaching everyone about ACEs and how it effects people. I found him a truly compassionate and caring gentleman and enjoyed talking with him after our coalition meetings. He was a great asset to the community and he touched many people. He will be greatly missed. Heaven received a good. Rest In Peace Doug and my deepest sympathy to his loved ones.
