Dear Dot, Howard Jr., and family:
I am so sad to hear of the passing of my dear old buddy Howard. He was a wonderful man and I will miss him. We spent many hours talking about everything under the sun, but most of all he loved to talk about his family. He loved and worried so about all of you; he really put his family first and he was truly one-of-a-kind. I can't believe that he is gone and I can still hear his deep laughing voice. I will always treasure knowing him. He helped me and many others through tough situations and he was truly one of the good guys. Good bless you Mr. Moon. Your friend always, Wilda
(I am so sorry I am away and unable to be there for the service but I am certainly with you in thoughts and prayers.)

wow this taught me a valiuable lesson. my grandfather always taught me about how life is a moment and enjoy it and enjoy the people in life and it took the day of febuary 13th 2010 for me to realize that that is true. it feels like everything shot by so fast but pop taught me almost everything i know today and he was always giving but not just giving things he gave his heart and love which was the most important of all. And if i could do anything to have him back today i would do it. pop i love you and very miss you and i thank you for everything and for always being there for me even from the first day i was born in Pennsylvania hospital and thank you for giving me my name Elijah Moon. You will always be in my heart Pop i love you

Times change ~ more often people change, not Howard. A quiet conscience and loyal friend,he was far wiser than most. He will not be remembered now because he died. It will be for his enduring devotion, friendship and loyalty to those who he loved and believed in.Good bye, friend.

He certainly was a special man and you a very fortunate wife. I'll be praying for both of you and thanking God for the privilege of meeting Howard.

I am so sorry to hear of Howard's passing, my condolences to his family. I have known Howard for a long time, and I have cherished his friendship. He was truly a beautiful person, who would always try to help in any way he could. He will always remain in my memory and thoughts for as long as I live. I retired from the Camden Police Department in 1994 and moved to North Carolina in 2001, so I have not talk with him in a long time. Heaven has a new ANGEL, God Bless.
