I vividly remember him coming through the fellowship hall doors of the church as a 4 yr old. He grew into a handsome young man. As he walks the streets of gold in Heaven, We can Rejoice in knowing that he was Saved!!

There are no words that I can say that will take the heaviness you are feeling away. Robin, we had many joyous conversations at work, discussing our son's high school years, graduation, summer league games, getting ready for college and that first year. My son shared a conversation with me; one of his friends stated John is the reason he is now playing college basketball. Collectively, these memories and those created with others define John as a wonderful young man who has touched the hearts of many and while his physical presence will be missed, that beautiful smile and memories will keep his spirit forever alive in your heart and others. As you go through, our Heavily Father will continue to give you peace and hope.

When I heard your son's name on the news, my heart dropped. I am deeply saddened and sorry for your loss. Although we haven't seen each other in a long time, you are still in my thoughts. I remember the last time I saw you, Phylecia and your son when we went to Juneteenth at Franklin Park. That was about 5 years ago. Your son was so nice. He carried that darned lawn chair for me.
