John R. Scheetz, age 69, of Gahanna, OH, passed away March 3, 2021. He was born February 14, 1952 in Youngstown, OH to the late Robert and Donna Scheetz. He was very hard working man, operating as an independent contractor for many years. John loved the outdoors and spending time with his daughter. He was generous and caring, always willing to lend a helping hand. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Janet L. Scheetz. Survivors include his daughter, Renee (Kevin) Ellinger; grand pup, Odie; three brothers, David Scheetz, Robert Scheetz Jr. and Paul Scheetz; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Arrangements by DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, Canal Winchester, OH. Services will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be found at www.spencefuneralhome.com.
