John F. Wolfe was a a generous-hearted power behind the scenes. Much of what is great about Columbus was thanks to his hard work and devotion to the people of this community. I was fortunate to work for WBNS-TV for 30 years, much of it under his guiding hand. Rest in peace, Mr. Wolfe, and thank you. You truly have earned your eternal reward.

Dear Ann and family,

Lois and I were saddened to hear about John's passing. Over the years as zoo director I had the opportunity to seek John;s advice on several items. He always made time to meet and always offered thoughtful advice. I appreciated his time and knowledge.

I am sorry to miss his memorial service, but I am scheduled for back surgery on July 1. Thoughts and prayers to your family as you go through this difficult time

Sincerely,

Jerry and Lois Borin

John F. Wolfe was a true giant during his lifetime.

He was compassionate and fought for all things that would benefit the community and the family.

He was a visionary and has left an indelible mark on what Columbus has become and can be in the future.

He was a great person to work for. He cared about those who worked for his companies and would go out of his way to help an associate in need.

While John is no longer with us, he will always remain in our memories and our hearts.

It's my heartfelt wish that his family may find strength at this time in the happy memories he left behind and in the love those of us who knew John had for him and his entire family.
