I knew Jay while a Peace Corp Volunteer in Ecuador in the early 1970s. We had many adventures both in the Chota Valley and all about the Province of Imbabura. The many fiestas in Ibarra, Otavalo and the Chota. I cherish a photo of us two on a park bench in Ibarra from 1972... Vaya con dios amigo siempre en mis pensimientos de ayer... Juan Pato

My deepest condolences to the family. Truly a pleasure knowing Jay and calling him a member of our family at ICP all these years. We had many travels together and he never met a stranger along the way. He had a special knack connecting with people and remembering names and details about their lives. Jay was great guy and friend to all. Peace be with you, Ciao y Adios.

We will always remember how he welcomed us like family at all the gatherings & events you guys had! Sorry we cannot be there today. Love, Dave & Nora (what Jay called me ;))

Rest In Peace Jay. Condolences to your immediate family and the Casey family brothers and sisters, esp. Michael and Mary, who I know. Let your smile and light shine upon us all. I'll be praying for your soul and remembering you and your family next Sat. in absentia as I'll be at another funeral out-of-town. Peace Jay and Blessings upon your family and friends during this time of their grief and suffering. Amen
