Our families have been neighbors twice in Joe's lifetime. Once in Laurel Green while raising our children and again when my son moved in across from Joe on Eagle View. He was a good neighbor, a good friend and a good man. He will be missed by many.
Sending special blessings to his daughters, Cheryl and Jennifer.

Our family will keep you in our prayers.

I attended the funeral today. It was a very nice service with lots of touching words from people who obviously loved Joe. It was very moving to hear the words of loss from the family. Many thanks to all for this fine worship service in honor of this champion and my captain. I was excited to see a number of his old high school and college teammates there including one man who flew in from 100 miles north of Seattle!!! I loved hearing everyone's stories including words from his high school coach. Our prayers are mostly certainly with the family in this difficult time.

To all of the Dobos Family, it has been a joy to know all of your family that we met through your grandmother and Aunt Helen and family and the time you spent at the Hungarian Church. It was a blessing to always be with your family. My prayers are with your entire family at this time. Your entire family has been a blessing on everyone you have ever worked with or met. I am so shocked and saddened by all of this. Joe Dobos was my captain at Capital University. I admired him as a great conference champion and as a great individual. I chased his records for four years at college. It was a special night when he was inducted into the Capital University Hall of Fame for his amazing hurdling. I was thrilled to be there and see all the joy among his family and friends. I am so so sorry for your loss.
