Joyce Cutter Obituary
1943 - 2020
Joyce (Oyster) Cutter, was born in Canton, Ohio to Earl and Fern (Biery) Oyster. She graduated from Louisville High School. She then went on to earn a B.S. in Accounting from Franklin University and an MBA from Xavier University. She worked for many years at Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Company (AEP). Joyce had a quick wit and a sharp tongue that made all her friends and family laugh. She enjoyed gardening, entertaining, and spending time with her loving husband and faithful dogs. Joyce is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Cutter; siblings, Joan Hochstetler, Robert (Connie) Oyster, and Debbie (Dave) Stephan; mother-in-law, Imogene Cutter; and dog, Harper. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Marion "Mike" Meckstroth; son, Michael Andrew Meckstroth; parents; and dog, Winnie. To our special friend, Janet Cavazos, thank you for the wonderful care you provided. Due to Covid, family will be having a private funeral service on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. A public webcast of the service will be posted online. Please visit www.schoedinger.com to share memories and condolences and to view the webcasting of the funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions maybe made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1379 Dublin Road, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

Jim, may the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
Mom and I have so many good memories of our times at the Old Bag of Nails. No one was a stranger. My favorite memory is when Joyce would whisper in my ear. It was always hilariously BAD and I,as the bartender, couldn’t repeat. She will surely be missed.
