Michael Sarvis Obituary
Michael Robert Sarvis, age 58, of Hilliard, died January 3, at Doctors West Hospital. Preceded in death by daughter Amber Sarvis Whitler, father Gus Sarvis, and former wife Carrie Ann Starett. Survived by son, Adam (Don Richards) Sarvis; mother, Carol Fleming; sisters, Jeannie (John) Tobias and Kim (Dan) Gordon; brother, Jeffrey (Kiko) Sarvis; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. Born in Cincinnati, OH and graduated from Madeira High School in 1977. Longtime associate of Michael's Finer Meats and Seafoods. He was passionate about food service and his work ever since his first job at LaRosa's as a teenager. He was a great cook, and loved his garden, TV and movies, Stephen King, and especially his children. Family will receive friends 2-4 pm Saturday, January 6, at the Schoedinger Midtown Chapel, 229 East State St., where a funeral service will be held at 4 pm. Contributions may be made to your favorite charity in his memory. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.Schoedinger.com.
