Rosemary McClaskey Obituary

McClaskey Rosemary McClaskey, 74, of Pleasantville, passed away in her home on December 10, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She cared for everyone and put everyone's needs before her own. She retired in 2012 after 35 years at Hub Plastics. Rosemary is survived by her daughters, Tina (Jack) Rathgaber of Reynoldsburg, Rosalyn (Tom) Hamrick of Gahanna, Judy (Hector) Estremera of Westerville, and Christine Richards of Pataskala; grandchildren, Eric (Janet) McClaskey, Penny Kunkle, Jackie Rathgaber, Brittany (Brian) Harris, and Anthony Richards; great-grandchildren, Deven Draper, Jackson Smith, Ember McClaskey, Slade McClaskey, and Jack Rathgaber; brother, Henry O'Brien of Newark; sisters, Nancy Hedrick of Jacktown, and Violet Wilhite of Frazeysburg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Dorothy Hedrick, husband Bobbie McClaskey, brother Timothy O'Brien, sisters Freda Smith and Mildred O'Brien. The funeral service will take place on Monday, December 15, at 1 p.m. at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME located at 207 S. Main Street in Baltimore with Reverend Deb Click officiating. Friends and family may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Baltimore, Ohio. Contributions may be made to St. James Hospital, 300 W. 10th Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43210 and Heartland Hospice, 116 Morris Road, Circleville, Ohio 43113.
