Bryan Marcell Scott

Bryan Marcell Scott, 45, of Monticello's Aucilla Community passed unexpectedly in Jackson, Ga., on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025. Funeral services are 12 noon Friday at Mt. Morilla M.B. Church, with Interment in Emory Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 3-6 p.m. Friday at Tillman of Monticello, (850) 997-5553. A Monticello native, "Marc" was a 1997 graduate of Jefferson County High School, where he was an accomplished trumpeter in the Marching Band. He was a devoted member of Mt. Morilla and an independent owner-operator of his own long-distance trucking enterprise. His love and legacy will live forever in the hearts of his mother, Evangelist Dorothy Terrell; brothers, Sherman (Kelly) and John (Sharon) Scott, Roderick Jennings, John Scott, Jr. and Roderick Jennings; daughters, Sylvia and Shawana Garbo, LaFaye Speed, Yovanna, Shaleitha, Ebony and Jonai Scott; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
