I am so sorry for your loss of such an incredible man. Det. Lester has helped me thru so much and I am so very sad that he did not get to see all his hard work, thru. The work he has done for myself and others is truly amazing and he was such an inspiration. I just can not wrap my mind around all this and that he is gone. I am deeply saddened by this news and I am praying for his family.

Chris was such a nice man. I worked with him at the sheriffs office for 3 years. He was funny, kind, caring, professional, and was very good at his job even though I'm sure it was hard to do. I remember his smile - always so warm and he looked at you when he smiled.
My deepest sympathy to his family - I know they are heart broken. My sympathy also to all of my former co-workers - I know his shoes will be hard to fill.
Rest in peace my friend. God be with you and all your loved ones a they say good-bye and during the coming months.

I had the honor of working with Chris for 5 years while I worked at Clinton County Children Services about 10 years ago. I was lucky to work with such a skilled Detective and learned so much from Chris. I was even luckier to consider Chris my friend. You will be missed. Prayers and thoughts to his family.
With sympathy,
Alexis Krieger
