Ray Heim Obituary
Ray Heim, 76, died June 14th while at home from a heart attack. He leaves his wife of 54 years, Anne (Thomsen); his son John and wife Erma; his daughter Mina and husband Herman; 6 grandchildren; and his sister Barbara with companion Ted. After retiring from Orange & Rockland Utility Co. and the U.S. Navy, he became a more active member of the Masons and the Order of the Eastern Star. A special prayer service will be given during the viewing hours of 2-4 on June 29th at Edward C Finn Funeral Home of Stony Point, NY. Masonic & Eastern Star services will be offered during the viewing hours of 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made directly to the Eastern Star Home, PO Box 959, Oriskany, NY 13424 or to MMRL, 2150 Bleecker St., Utica, NY 13501.

Dear Anne,
Thanks for letting Susan and I know of Ray's passing.
I first met Ray in kindergarten at P. S. 7 in the Bronx in September of 1946, we became best friends. We tossed long ball for hours in back of the Church of the Mediator.
We met Susan and Susan in 1955, and became great friends.
When Ray moved to Haverstraw our friendship was still there but it was strained by distance.
Ray always held a special place in our hearts and we were greatly saddened by the news of his passing.

So sorry to hear of Raymond's passing, may he rest in peace, and may the entire family receive the Blessing of the Lord Jesus during this trying time in there lives. Martha and I will forever keep Ray in our hearts and memory. God Bless.
