Ada L. Ebert, 73, of Marion, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in her home. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, on September 24, 1951, she was the cherished daughter of Willard and Clara (Manning) Johnson.

Ada was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, James Ebert, and a nurturing presence to all who knew her. She graduated from Sunfish High School and pursued further education at Indiana Wesleyan University and Ivy Tech, where she received an associate's degree and a formal CDA in childcare. For 42 years, Ada opened her heart and home through her in-home childcare service, touching the lives of countless children and families.

A woman of deep faith, Ada was a member of Servant Community Church. She also dedicated 20 years as a volunteer assistant swim coach with Special Olympics, where her unwavering support earned her a gold medal from the head coach for her years of service.

Ada was a mother to six, a mom to all, a grandmother to a few, and a mamaw to many. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and compassion lives on in the lives she touched.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Ebert of Marion; her sons: Jason (Kendra) Ebert of Las Vegas, NV; Andy Ebert of Marion; Nathan (Macy) Ebert of Marion; Joshua Ebert of Marion; Michael (Alejandra) Ebert of San Tan Valley, AZ; and Jonathan Brooks. She also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a sister, and close family friend, Bob Abshire.

Ada was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson, Kegan Andrew Ebert, and a sister.

Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN.
