Adam Wesley "Wes" Ballentine age 41 of Humboldt, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, at his residence.
He was born April 18, 1982, in Jackson to Larry and Alice Kimble Ballentine.
At an early age, Wes enjoyed racing go carts. That led to learning how to build ATV's and riding them. Wes learned to weld and became an accomplished journeyman in welding. Out of one hundred, he was chosen to work on a welding project at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital due to his welding abilities. He was kind, caring, thoughtful and never met a stranger. Wes was truly loved by his family and friends and will be missed.
Survivors include his daughter, Hillary Ayden Ballentine of Jackson; parents, Larry and Alice Ballentine of Humboldt; partner, Tara Parker of Humboldt; sister, Heather Ballentine Kennada and husband Daniel of Kentucky; niece, Allie Kennada of Kentucky.
Serving as pallbearers are Vincent Terrell, Blake Daniels, William Hart, Taylor Coop, Nico Quello and Ronnie Moore.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Wes Ballentine will be conducted Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at New Shiloh Church with Bro. Don Prescot officiating. Burial will follow in the New Shiloh Church Cemetery. The Ballentine family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center at www.vanderbilthealth.org in memory of Wes.
