Adline Marie Bartkoski

Adline M. Bartkoski, 85, of Pierce City, MO, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023, at her home.
Adline was born on July 10, 1938 in Purdy, MO, the daughter of Whaley and Adline (Fyr) Hayward. Adline was a graduate of Monett High School class of 1956. She was a bookkeeper for many businesses in the Monett area. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church Stone's Prairie. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, church and friends and loved spending time with her family.
On August 17, 1958, Adline Marie Hayward married Robert Eugene Bartkoski. To this union, three children were born. Adline is survived by two sons, Garry Bartkoski and wife Pam, of Monett and Larry Bartkoski, of Pierce City; one daughter, Janan Meier, and husband Mike, of Monett; and three grandchildren, Noah, Drew Meier and wife Jennifer and Darren Meier; two great-grandchildren, Bridget and Nolan Meier; three sisters, Norma Duncan and husband Carl of Exeter, MO, Helen Storer and husband Stan of Kellyville, OK and Mary Schad of Monett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; two brothers, Charles and Whaley Hayward.
Memorial visitation will be held from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2023 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett. Memorial contributions can be made to the Pierce City Senior Center or St. John's Lutheran Church Stone's Prairie in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
