Adrian J. Albert, Jr., also known as "Blue", died Monday, November 25, 2024 at Liza's Place. Born April 16, 1944 in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Bertha and Adrian J. Albert, Sr., foster son to the late Emma C. Albert.
In addition to his parents, Adrian is preceded in death by a son, Alan Albert and three sisters, Katherine "Kay" Sher, Patricia "Pat" Holmes and Margaret "Margie" Albert Andre.
Surviving is his wife of 24 years, Elvira Albert, stepson, Jozef, son Michael of Warwood and Mark (Bridget) of Glen Easton, a sister, Jacqueline "Jackie" Yohe of Kansas City, MO, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Adrian was retired from UPS and the founder and original owner of Albert's Landscaping and Tree Service. He was a graduate of McKinley Vocational High School and attended Florida State University as well as West Liberty State College. Adrian was a US Air Force Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #1, The Retired Teamsters of Local Union 691 and a member of the National Arbor Society. A Catholic by faith, Adrian was a lifelong member of St. Michaels Parish of Wheeling, WV.
Family and friends will be received Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at Altmeyer Funeral Home 154 Kruger St. Wheeling, WV. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michaels Parish at 11:00 AM on Saturday November 30, 2024.
