Adrian Johnson Obituary
July 7, 1973 – June 14, 2024
Our beloved Adrian Donald Johnson went to be with his heavenly Father on Friday, June 14, 2024. He was born July 7, 1973, in Orlando, Florida. He grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and attended All Saints Episcopal School, Lubbock High School and Texas Tech University. He graduated from the University of North Texas in 2007, with a degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management. He was employed at Ceva Logistics at DFW Airport from 2007 until the present.
Adrian was a loving son, husband, father and an avid sailor. His kind and gentle soul touched all who knew him. He enjoyed all things outdoors and loved sailing on Lake Grapevine with his wife Claire, his best friend, Chad Gaumond, and his father-in-law, Mark McPherson. Highly creative, he excelled in woodworking and metal crafting. He liked puzzles and always had several ongoing projects.
Adrian is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Claire McPherson Johnson and daughters, Jenna Fay Johnson and Lea Jean Johnson of Southlake, Texas; his parents, Richard and Judy Johnson of Southlake, Texas, his brother, Thomas Richard Johnson (Joanna Wong) of Monterey, California and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clint and Fay Penn of Littlefield, Texas, and his grandparents, Doris and Paul Johnson of Plainview, Texas.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1452 West Southlake Blvd, Southlake, Texas. In lieu of flowers, Adrian's family is asking donations to be sent to Trinity Presbyterian Church, Southlake, Texas.

My first memory of Adrian was a very warm smile and a wave from his home (very close to ours)! Adrian always came to my aid with a continual seasonal "battle" with yard difficulties and quite humble about it! Seeing him come and go with a wave and smile always heartwarming!
I have fond memories of this precious family. At the present my DEAR Claire, Jenna, and Lea, I grieve with and for the huge loss of Adrian!
