Mr Adrian J. Robie Sr

Adrian John Robie Sr. of Arizona died suddenly October 5, 2021, at home with his wife Leslie. Born in Wolfeboro NH July 17, 1947, he lived his early years in Melvin Village and Florida. In 1955 he moved to Plymouth, and in 1964 met Leslie, who in 1965 became his partner for life. Adrian got into construction at an early age working briefly for his uncle as a teenager, and then with his father in-law as a young adult for Seward Construction. Adrian started his own construction company in 1977 establishing himself as a man of honesty and integrity. As a result, his business flourished, making him a well-respected member of his community. Adrian enjoyed travelling, dancing, gambling, working, talking shop, and spending time with his family. He was an avid collector of western paraphernalia, pocket watches, colt guns and anything else not nailed down, as his friends and family can attest! Though Adrian was a man of few words, he said a lot. He had a dry sense of humor, and enjoyed time spent in Holderness NH, at his garage where family and friends would stop by to chat, get the local town scoop, and read the obits to make sure they weren't listed! Adrian is survived by the love of his life, Leslie Ellen Robie married 56 years of Buckeye Arizona. A son, Adrian (Jay) John Robie Jr of Buckeye Arizona. Three daughters, Rachel Anne Robie of Ashland NH, Ginger Lee Bell of Henderson Nevada, and Olivia Lyn Robie of Sacramento California. He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Ariana Farris of Buckeye Arizona, Jaymes Bell of Henderson Nevada, and Jacob Robie of Buckeye Arizona. Adrian is also survived by his 4 siblings. Gaye Hodgdon of Tuftonboro NH, Rebecca Weeks of Canaan NH, Eugene Robie of Holderness NH, and Veronica Malcolm of Plymouth NH. Adrian also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, as well as very close loyal friends and colleagues. Celebration of Life Services for Adrian are being held across the country November 6 at 1 PM (PT / MST), 2 PM (MDT), 3 PM (CST), and 4 PM (EST) via Zoom.
