Age 73, of Morris, Illinois died on June 6, 2025 at Morris Hospital.

Born on June 29, 1951 in Morris, Alan Lee was a son of Donald and Gladys (Johnson) Parker. He was raised and educated in Morris and graduated Morris high school with the class of 1969. He married Beverly McClintock on September 8, 1973, at the Plattville Lutheran Church, in Plattville, Illinois where the two of them began their lives together. A self-taught electrical engineer, he worked with various contractors before finding long-term roles at Raytheon and later ComEd, where he served with dedication for over 18 years before retiring. Even after retirement, Alan wasn’t one to sit still and he took on the job of mowing the grass at the Morris Country Club.

A lifetime member of the Morris Country Club, he spent countless hours on the course, often golfing daily. He participated in many golf outings, and took first place during a Morris Country Club Invitational. He had a passion for snow skiing and even skydiving with friends. Alan was a devoted family man who deeply valued time spent with loved ones. Known for his dry wit and sarcastic sense of humor, he was someone you could always count on. He had a soft spot for animals, especially his pets, who were cherished companions.
