Albert Melvin Boilore, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
Albert was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 23, 1929, to his parents Edward Boilore and Cecelia La Paige Boilore.
Albert touched the lives of many with his kindness, hard work, and love for his family. He led a fulfilling life dedicated to service both in his career and to his country. After serving his nation in the United States Army, he embarked on a successful career as a mechanic. His journey began at Gene Merollis Chevrolet in Troy and culminated in the founding of Al Boilore and Son Body Shop in Pinconning, Michigan in July of 1984. His passion for automotive work shone through as he meticulously painted cars, leaving a lasting mark on each vehicle that passed through his shop until his well-deserved retirement in 2005.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Albert was known for his unwavering faith as a good Christian man who found solace and strength in his relationship with the Lord. This steadfast belief guided him throughout his life's joys and challenges.
In his leisure time, Albert found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid hunter who made annual trips to Wyoming to pursue Mule Deer. Fishing excursions brought him relaxation and contentment amidst nature's beauty. Albert also had a penchant for dancing that brought him much joy over the years.
Albert is survived by his beloved wife Esther Kollman Boilore. They were united in marriage on July 17, 2005. Also surviving are his children Lydia Ann (Frederick) McCauley and Samuel Edward (Roxanne) Boilore; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Albert is predeceased by his first wife Patricia Baldwin Boilore; parents Edward Boilore and Cecelia La Paige Boilore; and brother Lawrence Boilore.
The memories of Albert's love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
