Albert A. Brander, Jr. was a loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Grandchild, Nephew and Friend. He passed away on August 18, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer at age 47 surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Born in Hackensack and lived in Lyndhurst before residing in Toms River until purchasing his home in Forked River in 2011.
Albert " Al" was a proud Veteran of the US Army National Guard who served his Country in Iraq. He was a carpenter by trade and worked for the union before becoming self-employed. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to AL. He was a " Stand up guy" and a man of great character. He was a thrill seeker who loved riding his motorcycle, riding his quad and pushing the envelope as I would say. Al had no fear and was a free spirit who loved all outdoor activities. Camping with friends he enjoyed greatly. Al enjoyed a nice fire, music that he would sing along and conversation is what made him happy. Al was a critical thinker who was eager to learn new things. Al could talk about any topic that most wouldn't even think of. Al loved a challenge and enjoyed putting in his time to both learn and figure out the problem no matter what it took. His personality was contagious to everyone he met. He truly was the kind of friend that you hope for. He would drop what he was doing to help anyone in time of need no matter the time, what he was doing he would find a way. He was the family protector at all costs. He loved his family with all his heart.
He is survived by his loving wife Kimberly Brander. His daughter Dakota Brander. His parents Albert A. Sr and Ann Miller Brander. Two sisters Michele Brander and Stephanie Cole. Brother in law Aldo Ventiere. His loving Grandmother Juanita Symons Miller. Nephews DeAnthony Bonelli, Carmine Ventiere and Danny Roman. Nieces Madison Brander, Gabriella & Sophia Przybos. He will be deeply missed by Aunt Carol Cirz & Family, Aunt Joan Strich & Uncle Gary & Family, Aunt Helen & Uncle Ezio Montorio & Family, Uncle Glenn & Aunt Dawn Miller & Family, Uncle George & Aunt Dawn Miller & Family, Aunt Linda Kasica & Family, Uncle Lester Seeley & Family, Father and Mother in law, Glenn & Theresa Bennett and two sister in laws, Danielle Bennett and Gwendolyn Roman and many cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Sunday August 25,2024 from 2-5pm at Timothy E. Ryan home for funerals located at 145 St Catherine Blvd, Toms River, N.J. The funeral service will be held on Monday August 26,2024 at 10:00am at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow to the NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, N.J.
