Albert Lewis Holland, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025, following a long illness.
He was born March 26, 1943 in Bronkville, NY. He later lived in Chappaqua, NY and was a graduate of Harace Greeley High School in 1962. He attended Norwich University from 1962-1966 and graduated with a degree in Business Administration.
After college, Al served his country and went active duty in the US Army from October 1966 – October 1986 and proudly retired Major where he was awarded the Legion of Merit, Vietman Service awards and the Bronze Star. He served in Korea, Vietnam, Germany, Fort Knox and US Army Security Assistance for several years. Al also served as a Ceremony Officer for President Regan's second inauguration.
After proudly serving his country, he worked as a defense contractor for Lockheed Sanders.
Al moved to Palm Coast, Florida in 1994. He was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 31 years and devoted his life to helping others. Al's legacy is one of love and kindness with his friends and loved ones.
Al and his wife Donna loved to travel and created beautiful memories together. There wasn't a cruise he didn't love.
Al was preceded in death by his parents, Charlotte and Henry Holland and his brother, Henry Holland Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna Florin Holland of Palm Coast, Florida. Daughters, Robin (Benjamin Bogin) Holland of New York, Heather (Brian Dresser) of New Hampshire and his Step Son, Michael (Ashley) Silveira of Virginia. Nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. He is also survived by his brother Thomas Holland of Washington.
