Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Albert J. Lamblin II, was called back into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital at the age of 70. The son of the late Albert J. and Gloria E. (Charboneau) Lamblin Sr. was born on December 5, 1954, in Saginaw, Michigan. He attended Ss. Peter and Paul High School and was part of the 1972 graduating class. Albert met the love of his life Rita K. Vickroy while working at school in Saginaw, little did he know that she would be his wife. They were married on August 23, 1975 and were preparing to celebrate fifty wonderful years of marriage together, filled with love and happiness. Albert spent many years working as a machinist at Kerkau Manufacturing; later in his career, Albert worked for Euclid Manufacturing where he retired. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, playing Yahtzee and cards. Albert also enjoyed taking long car rides with his beloved wife, Rita, and taking in the scenery. A devout Christian, Albert was a member of Living Hope Church. His family will always remember how he dressed up as Santa every year on Christmas and celebrations on July 4th and how he used to text passages every morning with the word of God.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Rita; daughter, Kimberly (Trevor) Dennis; son, Richard Lamblin; niece, who was like a daughter, Stacey Dudewicz; 6 grandchildren, R.J., Dakota, Jacob, David (Debbie), Johnnie, Marcus; great-grandchild, Connor; sisters, Rita (Joe) Grabowski, Mary (Rex) King, Gloria Hartman, Threasa (Rod) Warden, Janice (Kevin) Grigsby; brother, John (Joyce) Lamblin; sister-in-law, Katrina Lamblin; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is lovingly reunited with his parents, Albert and Gloria Lamblin, Sr.; great-grandchild; brothers, Michael, Danniel, Martin; niece, Samantha Gibbson.
A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty) Saginaw, Michigan. Pastor Pat Legan from Reach Community Church will officiate. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Immediate family will have a private viewing from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in honor of Albert's life may consider donations to wishes of the family, c/o wishes of the family.
