Albert, married 46 years to Mary, was a proud father of two daughters whom he raised as a single dad for a time. A skilled welder, he also enjoyed fishing and teaching his daughters home repair and mechanics.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Maturin; children, Catina Bordelon (Daniel) and Mona Lanier (David); grandchildren, Regina Hebert, Staphanie Conn, and Karter Conn; and brother, Alvin Maturin (Judy).
Albert is preceded in death by his father Wiltz Maturin; mother, Evelie Trahan Maturin; brother, Wilbert Maturin; and stepson Bobby Stelly.
The family thanks Consolata Rehab & Wellness and Hospice of Acadiana for their care.
No services will be held, and donations to Hospice of Acadiana are appreciated in his memory.
