Albert Aaron “Al” Siegel Jr., 81, of Menlo, GA, passed away on August 5, 2025.

A lifelong Chattanoogan and proud graduate of the University of Mississippi, Al served as Air Force ROTC Commander during his time there. Following college, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain.

Al began his professional career at American National Bank as a Marketing and Advertising Executive before moving into the water heater industry. In 1988, he was a founding member of Eemax Inc., a world-leading tankless electric water heater manufacturer based in the United States. Al’s keen sales acumen and dedication helped grow Eemax Inc. from the ground up, and he remained an integral part of the company until his retirement in 2013.

In retirement, Al enjoyed traveling, attending Ole Miss football games, and spending time as a gentleman farmer at his farm in North Georgia. He was admired for his sharp sense of humor, engaging storytelling, attention to detail, and unique sense of style, often seen in heavily starched Brooks Brothers shirts, shorts, and sunglasses, regardless of the season.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Aaron Siegel Sr. and Ruby Griffin Siegel.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Sandra Bassett Siegel; children, Albert Aaron Siegel III (Jeannie) and Rachel Ann Siegel-Berger (Steve); grandchildren, Jordan Berger (Lauren), Donna Marie Siegel (Sergeant Wise), Olivia Berger- Irwin (Logan), Malynn Berger -Rowland (Turner), Emma Siegel and Lillian Berger; great-grandchildren, Lydia Berger- Irwin and Bridger Berger -Rowland; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of Aaron and Jeannie Siegel on Monday, September 1, 2025 at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Al’s memory.
