Dr. Albert John Ziemba
March 3, 1932- August 12, 2025
Albert age 93, was a resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida for over 50 years. He had recently relocated to Port St. Lucie, Florida to be close to family and passed away on 8/12/25 unexpectedly. Born on March 3, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio, Albert was the beloved first born son of Jeannette and John Ziemba, and brother of Edward and Robert Ziemba.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Albert honorably served his country from 1951 to 1953, aboard the US Wasp aircraft carrier, and served in the reserves thereafter for 2 years.
After his military service, Albert attended college at Ohio University and later obtained his Doctorate at Case Western Reserve to become a Dentist. He practiced dentistry for over 40 years in Florida. Albert was a man of honorable character, known for having a strong work ethic, generous spirit, and good sense of humor.
Alberts married his wife, Rosemary in 1956, and together they had 4 children. He is survived by his wife Rosemary Ziemba, his siblings, Robert Ziemba and Edward Ziemba, his children, Jane Ziemba, Lare Ziemba, and Paige Ziemba, His grandchildren, Brenden Ziemba, Stone Ziemba, Sydney Ziemba, Joe Messina, Anthony Messina, Nicholas Messina, and his great-grandchildren Quinn Ziemba, and Amelia Messina who will forever cherish his wisdom, stories, and unconditional love. He is pre-deceased by his son, Mitchell Ziemba and Grandson, Zane Ziemba.
He enjoyed fishing and diving in his younger years, and golf and cards as he matured. He loved sharing stories of his life and wisdom with his children and grandchildren. His legacy of selflessness, honesty, and perseverance will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A Mass in celebration of Albert's 's life will be held on September 19th, 2025 at 11 am, at the St. Lucie Catholic Church at 425 SW Irving St, Port St. Lucie, FL. 34983.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Wounded Warrier Project, in memory of Albert.
