ALBERTHA POWELL GULLAGE

Alberta Powell Gullage, a beloved child of God went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the age of 92. She was a native of Edgard, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Mother Gullage was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, sister, cherished friend and most of all a faithful servant of Christ. She lived a life of faith, spreading God’s love and grace to all who knew her. Mother Gullage was a pillar of her community and a dedicated member of Mount Calvary International Worship Center, where she found joy in worship, prayer, and service. Her steadfast faith and loving spirit touched countless lives, and her legacy will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. We rest in the assurance that we will see her again in glory walking those streets paved with gold that she always described!” Well done, good and faithful servant.’ Matthew 25:23. Beloved wife of Phillip Gullage, Sr. Devoted mother of Betty Jessie, Phillip Jr. (Barbra), Ronald (Linda), Donald (Valerie), Gail Watkins (Lenny), Cheryl Proctor (Michael), Ernest (Joyce), Vanessa Pierre (Gregory), Terry Sr. (Cassandra), Tanya Patterson (Clarence), Anthony (Stephanie), and Dana Richardson (John Jr.), also survived by 56 grandchildren and counting , 75 great grandchildren and counting, and 26 great great grandchildren and counting, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends will forever cherish her memory. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mount Calvary International Worship Center, Triumphant Church of Luling, Canaan Baptist Church of Killona, Changing A Generation Church of Atmore, AL, International Family Worship Center of Pueblo, CO, St. John, Greater St. John, Word of Faith Churches all of Denver, CO, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mount Calvary International Worship Center, 1600 Westwood Drive, Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Apostle Terry Gullage, officiating.
