Tyrone James Gullage departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the age of 64. He was a native of Killona, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA.Tyrone was in educated in the St. Charles Parish School System. He was a retired floor tech with Ochsner Medical Center, and formerly employed in the construction industry, and with G.C.A, and the Housing Authority of Westwego.Tyrone was a faithful and active member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Beloved husband of Carol Gullage. Devoted father of Tyrone, Morris, Walter Sr. Darnell Sr., and Latonya. Son of the late Morris and Carolyn Gullage. Grandson of the late Oscar and Mamie Darensbourg, Rufus and Leona Gullage. Brother of Betty Jean Domino, Diedra Gullage, Ursula Scott and Cornell Gullage. Son-in-law of Viola Hawkins and the late Joseph Hawkins. Brother-in-law of Jesse, Sr., Bruce, Ernest (Bridghette), Dennis (Phyllis), Bryan (Dana), Carl (Desiree), Joseph, Corey (Keisha), Donna (Kevin), Sheryl (Ernest), Tonya (Craig), and the late Terrence Hawkins. Father-in-law of Arlene, Alisha, and Trelise; also survived by 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Macedonia Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1219 Cohen Avenue, Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Albert Mickel, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St., Gretna, LA.
