CHERYL LANE SQUIRE

Cheryl Lane Squire entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the age of 59. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Cheryl was a graduate of Loyola University where she received her bachelor degree, and her master degree with University of Phoenix. She was employed as a social worker. Cheryl was faithful member of James Chapel Baptist Church where she was the church secretary, director of vocational bible school, and a usher. Daughter of the late Johnny Lewis Squire and Lucille Smothers Squire. Sister of Johnny Squire, Jr., Rose Bourgeois, Antoinette Bocage, and the late William H. Pate, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of James Chapel Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches; members of the Eastern Star are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at James Chapel Baptist Church 4228 Thalia St. New Orleans, LA on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service at the church.
