Our cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully at her home, returning to her heavenly loved ones, on June 18, 2024, at the age of 96.

Aldene was born on May 8, 1928, in Kaysville Utah, to Frank B and Lillian Burton Ringer. She had one brother and one sister, Wayne Burton (Joyce) Ringer and Donna Mary (Robert) Mitchell. She grew up in Kaysville, Utah where she graduated from Davis High School in 1946.

Aldene married Kenneth A Christensen on August 11, 1947. They were later divorced. Together they raised three children in Plain City, Utah, Lynn K (Sherrie) Christensen of Hooper, Randy K Christensen of North Ogden, and Lana (Randy) Wilson of North Ogden.

Aldene married Arlo Wayne Fisher in 1984. They resided in North Ogden. He passed away on June 1, 2009.

The majority of Aldene’s working career was spent working in civil service for the Department of Treasury. She logged over 30 years of service, retiring in 2004.

Aldene was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she enjoyed many callings in the Primary, Relief Society, and library.

Family was very important to Aldene. She rarely missed and enjoyed watching sporting events, dance, and cheerleading performances of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Aldene loved her many friends. She enjoyed dancing at the Eagles and the North Ogden Senior Center. She was the last survivor of a special group of ladies in the Plain City Club, which began in the 1950’s and met monthly until the very most recent years.

Aldene was a talented seamstress and shared her talent with family sewing many cherished items such as dance dresses, bridesmaid dresses, and blessing dresses.

She enjoyed baking and making Christmas candies for her loved ones. Her special pies and cakes were requested by all for many celebrations. She enjoyed gardening and canning her harvest while sharing and teaching her craft to her children and grandchildren.

Aldene loved traveling. She enjoyed her trips to Yellowstone with her dear friends Barbara and Duane Thomas. She looked forward to many family vacations to Las Vegas, St George, California, and Hawaii. She also enjoyed cruising the Caribbean and Alaskan territories.

Aldene is survived by her 3 children, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and one granddaughter-in-law, Heather Christensen.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden. Friends may visit with family on Monday, June 24, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd.
