Alex Ray Fairbanks, 40, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025.
Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Lieb Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at First Christian Church in Stinnett with Pastors James Stephens and Bob Miller officiating.
Alex was born August 28, 1985, in Borger, Texas to Mark Fairbanks and Tammy Reid Fairbanks. He graduated from South Gray High School in Montezuma, Kansas in 2003. Alex was a member of First Christian Church in Stinnett. He was a loving father and there was nothing more valuable in this world to Alex than the beautiful love he shared with his daughters Aleya and Aubrie. He was a talented mechanic and loved motorcycles. Alex was an extremely hard worker and a fun-loving guy with a great sense of humor. They always say kids are the best judge of character, and kids always wanted to be around him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Tammy Fairbanks; grandparents, Charles and Bobbie Reid and Raymond Fairbanks.
Survivors include his children, Aleya and Aubrie; father, Mark Fairbanks of Morse; sisters, Amber Cunningham and husband Jason of Dodge City, Kansas, Ashley Rogers and husband Gene of Cimarron, Kansas; nieces and nephew, Makenzie Anderson and husband Gabriel, Hannah Cunningham, Max Cunningham, Courtney Rogers, Kristen Roetzer and husband Brad; great nephew, Reeve Anderson; grandmother, Joanne Fairbanks Spurgeon of Amarillo; numerous aunts and uncles; a host of extended family and friends; and his beloved canine companions, Pepper and Daisy.
