Alexander “Alex” Lott Cravey, age 21, of Pearson, Ga, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025.
Alex was a tornado of advocacy for everybody and everything he loved. His passion for learning was infectious and he loved teaching just as much. Maybe that's because from the time we brought him home we celebrated every new milestone, every new word. Alex was our walking, talking encyclopedia and he wanted to know everything you know, too. Alex was full of information and questions alike, embracing the size of our world and hoping to speak its languages.
Our Aggie Baby was so electric. Our entire family erupted into three-ring circuses when he came into our lives, sporting superhero costumes, building make-shift contraptions for him to ride on, spider man walls for him to climb, etc. If you didn't see some of the things our family did just because of how happy it made him, you missed out.
If you knew our little boy, you know that the Good Lord has never made a kinder soul, so sweet that he struggled to understand evil and meanness. His heart was giant and soft. He didn't just make our lives better. He made our world better.
Alex was a Atkinson County High School Graduate with Honors, Class of 2022. He worked at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. in the Dietary Department. Alex was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Theopolis Lott and Mary Lou Browning Lott, paternal grandfathers, James Wilton Cravey and William Daniel Graham.
