Alexander Benjamin Myers

We are sad to announce the passing of Alexander Benjamin Myers of Newport News, Virginia. He was born February 27, 1978. He returned home on Friday May 10, 2024. He was a 1996 graduate from Denbigh High School. He was a lifelong musician who specialized in classic and jazz ensemble. Alexander truly lived a life of music and was passionate about teaching music and the performing arts. Alexander passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his parents, Alfred and Suquesta Myers; his son, Adin Myers; his two brothers, Gerard and Andrew Myers, and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family, friends, and others whose lives Alexander touched are invited to the Altmeyer Funeral Home – Denbigh Chapel, 12893 Jefferson Avenue, Newport News. With a viewing on Tuesday, May 21, 11 am – 1pm followed by a celebration of Alexander's life starting at 1pm.
