Alexis Villarreal Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ric Brown Family Funeral Home - at the Expressway of Mission on Aug. 20, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, daughter, mother, and friend, Alexis Villarreal, who left this world on August 16, 2025 at the age of 39.

Born on March 25, 1986 in Monterrey, Mexico. Alexis was a bright light whose kindness, strength, and love touched everyone she met. She was known for her warm smile, her generous heart, and the way she always put others before herself.

Of all her roles in life, Alexis's most cherished was being a mother to her son, Dominick. She adored him with all her heart and found her greatest joy in watching him grow. Her love and devotion to him will remain a guiding light in his life forever.

She will be forever remembered and missed by Emilio Gomez, her son, Dominick; her parents, Carmen Pizano & Joseph Swiger, her siblings, Maricruz, Maria, and Miguel, her nieces and nephews, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Alexis now rests in eternal peace, reunited with loved ones who went before her.

Services to honor Alexis's life will be held on Thursday at 12-9 pm at Rodriguez Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate her memory.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that on August 16th, heaven gained an angel. Alexis's love will live on in our hearts forever-especially through her beloved son, Dominick.
