I did not have the honor and privilege to meet Alfred Jr., but I knew his family, Carl Sr., Carl jr. PG, Sachiko mama Goode and of course my good friend Alfred Sr.. I unfortunately lost contact with this wonderful family over the years, but God in His infinite wisdom has brought me back to them.
Alfred, we lift you and your wonderful God loving family up in prayer, comforted by the knowledge that you know where your strength comes from, and that God works for the good of all those who love Him.
I miss you and your family very much. May God continue to bless you abundantly with His Grace.

I knew Alfred when he went to Southside

Alfred was an amazing person that touched the lives of everyone who knew him. I was always secretly in awe of not only of how amazingly multitalented he was, but his dedication to using his abilities to reach out and improve the lives of those around him. The heart of a true teacher he nurtured the talents of others while inspiring them to go further. The truth is I did not know Alfred as well as I wish I had, but in the time I spent with him he was one of the most genuinely kind people I have ever encountered. My deepest sympathies and condolences are with the Goode family. I know there are no words I can give you that will come close to assuaging the grief you are experiencing during this difficult time. All I can say is that his memory lives on through all the lives he touched. He planted the seed inside me and so many others that within us was the potential to be so much more – creative, brave, generous – than we ever thought possible. Alfred Goode will be forever imprinted on my heart as well as the hearts of all those who knew him.

To the Goode Family, I want to extend my deepest condolences. This is a difficult time for your family and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Minister Goode was a talented, gifted young man. What I remember the most was his musical ability. He was an outstanding singer and committed to the choir and the Praise and Worship Ministry. Although he was gifted in many areas, he was humble, kind, and personable. He encouraged the youth to further their education by attending college during a Wednesday night service. Today, my nephew is in college and I thank Minister Goode for watering a seed that was planted. Additionally, I feel blessed to have known such a wonderful man of God. May God comfort you and bring you peace during this difficult time.

AJ will truly be missed. It was a blessing meeting him. He was a great asset to my circle of friends and I truly miss him. I enjoyed our conversations about counseling, education, traveling, and the future. AJ was a great person who was open-hearted, considerate, and talented.
