Alfred Zacatenco, of Dover, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at his residence.
Alfred was born to Esteban and Alicia Zacatenco on March 6, 1975. Alfred was known for his sharp wit and competitive spirit, which he channeled into everything from his beloved video games (which started with Atari) to intense Fantasy Football leagues. Alfred loved playing basketball and never took it easy when playing even if you were much younger or older than him, which made for some great basketball players growing up. He was a proud alumnus of Dover High School (Class of '94) and a lifelong resident of Dover, NJ.
Alfred leaves behind his cherished children, Elisa, Melanie and Ian, who were the light of his life. Alfred was one of four children to his devoted parents. A loving and caring brother to Antonio Nunez, Hugo Nunez (Edith), and Angelica. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. Alfred has now joined his beloved grandparents in peace.
Alfred was the true example of someone who never gave up regardless of the difficult obstacles thrown his way. He never limited himself and exceeded expectations. Alfred leaves behind the legacy of all legacies, his cherished children, the lights of his life, Elisa, Melanie, and Ian, of whom he was the most amazing and attentive father by showing them unconditional love, respect, and devotion.
Gathering of Family and friends on Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 11:00AM - 1:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph.
