Our Dad Alfredo was a man that demonstrated qualities you could not find in anyone else. He was a hard-working man that loved working in the oilfield and had been doing it since an early age. He was the best gang pusher anyone knew. Alfredo was loved by so many and would light up any room with his beautiful smile and even more contagious laugh. His singing is what we will miss the most, he loved playing the accordion and the guitar and one of his favorite songs was “El Compa Alfredo.” Alfredo is survived by his four children Fredric, Nathan and wife Angelica, and Timothy Martinez of Artesia NM and daughter Anabel Martinez and Husband Gary Ray of Hobbs NM. Grandchildren Leriah, Jasmine, Daidrien, Alizae, Aryabellah, Sindel, Kitana, Kash, and Nayeli. Parents Juan and Josefa Martinez of Jal NM. Brothers Edward and wife Sheila Martinez, Carlos and wife Debbie Martinez, Ruben and wife Alejandra Martinez and Sister Elizabeth M Cruz. Numerous nephews and one niece and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by Grandmother Augustina Mendoza, Uncle Jesus Mendoza and Uncle Lencho Martinez and brother-in-law Roy Cruz.
