Alice Elizabeth Nagy

Alice Elizabeth Nagy, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on March 30, 1933, Alice lived a life full of warmth, curiosity, and compassion. She was known for her vibrant spirit and her deep love of conversation. She would talk to anyone! She delighted in walking through her neighborhood, often stopping to chat with friends and neighbors-offering a kind word, a warm smile, or simply her presence. Alice was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She shared 65 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, with whom she traveled the world. Together, they explored Japan, Africa, and many countries throughout Europe, creating lasting memories and deepening their bond through a shared spirit of adventure. Alice is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Charles. She is survived by her three children: Charles F. Nagy (Darlene), Denise L. Katz (Sheldon), and Keith R. Nagy (Roxana); and six cherished grandchildren: Alex (Stephanie), Britney (Bobby), Cassandra, Quintin, Brandon (Sarah) and Khory. Also loved by 7 great grandchildren. A woman of deep faith, Alice was an active and devoted member of John Knox Church. Her commitment to her church community and her gracious, steady presence will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. She cherished a good game of bridge, a tradition she enjoyed with her husband and close friends, sharing laughter, strategy, and lifelong connection around the table. Alice's legacy is one of kindness, grace, and a life well-lived centered in faith, grounded in family, and enriched by friendships near and far. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 12 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A celebration of Alice's life will take place at John Knox Church on Saturday, September 13 at 11:00 followed by a shared meal in her honor.
