Alice Sachs Obituary

Alice was born on May 26, 1952, in Jefferson City, Missouri, to Anton and Matilda (Schetzler) Moeller. She attended St. Martin School and remained a lifelong member of St. Martin Catholic Church, where her faith remained a constant throughout her life.
Alice dedicated her career to serving others through her work in housekeeping and food services associated with the health care fields. Over the years, she worked at Memorial Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, and just about every nursing home in the Jefferson City area. Her strong work ethic and compassionate spirit touched countless lives throughout the community.
Above all, Alice lived for her sons, Dale and Darrell, who were the light of her life. Her love for them was unwavering, and her devotion to her family was the heart of who she was.
She is survived by her sons, Dale Sachs and Darrell Sachs; sisters, Helen Kempker and her husband Elmer and Agnes Voss; grandchildren, Heather Moeller, Jamie Sachs, Hannah Sachs, Melanie Sachs and Addison Sachs; great-grandchildren, Payton Wilbers and Vincent Pippin; and many extended family and friends. Alice was preceded in death by her parents Matilda Moeller and Anton Moeller; brothers, John, Henry, and William Moeller; and sister, Rita Moeller.
Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors in Jefferson City with services following at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at St. Martin Catholic Cemetery.
