Alice A. Schuler, 74, of Massillon, passed away at home surrounded by her loved ones on April 11, 2023, following an extended illness.
She was born on July 13, 1948 to the late James and Helen (Trott) Wonsick in Columbus, Ohio.
Alice was a graduate of Washington High School and attended The Ohio State University. She retired from K Mart after 30 plus years of service.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. A dedicated volunteer at her church and the Massillon Senior Center doing taxes. Her family was the center of her life. She loved to live life, relax around the pool and even travel to the beach.
Alice is survived by her loving children, Brian L. Birkich, Steve J. (Jeannette) Birkich and Rachel Schuler; grandchildren, D'Azia Nash, Dylan Kazleman, Brandon Engle, Connor Birkich and Landon Birkich; and siblings, RJ (Karen) Wonsick, Ellen (Bruce) Beckle, Tucker (Vicki) Wonsick, Bill (Karen) Wonsick and Fran Zupp.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry L. Schuler; and brother, Jim Wonsick.
Calling hours will take place from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, April 22 2023 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with a service directly following at 11:00am.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Mercy Hospice 4369 Whipple Ave NW, Canton, OH 44718.
