Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors - AmarilloAlicia Marie Longstreth, 47, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025. She was born on April 12, 1978, in Amarillo to Claire Marie Thomas Longstreth and the late Dennis Edward Longstreth.
Alicia’s Celebration of Life will be held at Village Park Church, 12911 NE 11th Ave, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Pastor Ronnie Nemoede will be sharing a few words in her honor as we gather to remember and celebrate Alicia’s beautiful life. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
A graduate of Lufkin High School, Class of 1996, Alicia later pursued her passion for helping others by earning her Associate in Science – Pharmacy degree from Amarillo College in 2021.
Alicia lived and loved with her whole heart—BIG and LOUD. Once you were in her circle, you were there for life. She had an incredible gift for words, turning even a simple text message or birthday card into something heartfelt and memorable.
Family was everything to Alicia. She loved deeply and cared for her tribe with fierce devotion. She was known for nurturing those around her—especially the children of her family and friends—earning her the cherished title of “Aunt Alicia” to many nieces and nephews who adored her.
Alicia’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She loved the Lord and recently attended Messiah’s House in Amarillo, where she found strength and peace.
Her compassion extended to all living creatures, but her greatest joy came from being a devoted dog mom to her beloved Hanks, who brought endless laughter and comfort to her days.
Alicia was preceded in death by her grandparents, FE (2002) and Jeanne (2016) Thomas, her father, Dennis Edward Longstreth (2012), and grandmother, Charlene Longstreth Dunn (2015).
She is survived by her loving mother, Claire Marie Thomas Longstreth; aunts Christine Thomas Schulz and husband Larry, Claudia Thomas Hagains and husband Charlie, Cindy Longstreth Woods and her husband Gary; her uncle David Longstreth and his wife Jeani. She also leaves behind countless friends and loved ones whose lives were forever brightened by her spirit.
Alicia’s love, laughter, and light will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
