Alida Johnson

Alida Johnson, nee Straszynski, age 97, a lifelong resident of Grayslake, Il, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025 at Vintage on the Ponds in Delavan, WI where she called home for the last 8 years of her life, a place she absolutely loved.
Beloved wife of the late Donald Jerome Johnson, loving mother of Arlene (Randy) Selig, Linda Kostock, and Barbara (late Thomas) Nobles. Dearest grandmother of Michelle (Nick) Buck, Karin (Todd) Moen, Eric Kostock, and Tyler Selig. Great grandmother of Cassandra Buck, Camryn Buck, Claire, Anders, and Grant Moen.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11am. A visitation will be held at Church on Saturday from 10am until the start of Mass. Interment will be held at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
