Allen R. Dehoff, 79, passed away peacefully at the Dallastown Nursing Center, one day after his 79th birthday. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara Anne (Brenneman) Dehoff.
Mr. Dehoff was born in Chanceford Township on October 18, 1945 and was the son of the late Paul C. and Blanche A. (Waltemyer) Dehoff.
Allen worked as a tool and die maker for various companies in York County, retiring from Eyster's Machine Shop. He was a talented and avid woodworker. He also enjoyed sprint car racing and loved going to watch the races at the track. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He survived by his three siblings, Gerald Dehoff, Ed Dehoff and his wife Candy and Judy Shue and her husband Bruce. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Sue Dehoff.
Following cremation, a private service will be held by the family.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Tana Young, for her care and support she gave Allen.
Services are under the care of the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., Dallastown.
