Allen Messick Obituary

Allen was born in Kingsport, TN to his parents the late Afton and Bell (Vineyard) Messick and was a lifelong resident of Hawkins County. He retired from Eastman Chemical Company after more than 40 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Messick.
Allen is survived by his son, David Allen Messick; granddaughters, Hannah (Messick) Bledsoe (Marcus), and Bella – Rayne Messick; great grandchildren, Jackson and Tatum Bledsoe; sister, Patricia "Sissy" (Messick) Turner; and his nieces, Amy and Shayla.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 2:45 PM.
