Allen Perry Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton on Dec. 14, 2025.
Allen Clayton Perry, III, gained his wings, December 5, 2025, at his home in Milton, FL. He was 84 years young. He was born to Estelle and Allen Clayton Perry II on November 3, 1941, in Jacksonville, FL.

Allen grew up in Pensacola, attending Blount Jr. High and Pensacola High School. He loved horseback riding, fishing, riding in the woods, team roping, horses, boating, and spending time with his family.

He spent a few years in the Air Force, then worked for Carol Construction and out of 200 workers, only two men got to go to Air products; Allen was one of the two. He worked at Air products for 7 years, and worked for PCC for 35 years. He had a very strong work ethic. He was also a 32nd degree Mason from Ensley Lodge.

Allen was also a tri-state heavy weight right arm-wrestling champion for three years in a row (and was left-handed). He also had a blackbelt in 2 disciplines in martial arts.

Everyone who knew him loved him!

Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Estelle Perry; sister, Romaine Weaver; brother, Allen; daughter, Holly Perry; and one great-granddaughter.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathryn Lewis; children: Allen (Stacy) Perry, Kim (Tim) Parker, Kevin (Kim) Perry, Mike Perry, Joe (Shirley) Pfeiffer, Melissia Lewis, and Christal Lewis; sister, Shannon Carrol; 21 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, with visitation starting at 10: a.m. at Trahan Family Funeral of Milton.
