Amanda VanBuskirk

Amanda "Mandy" B. Baum-VanBuskirk, age 55, passed away on July 21, 2025, at 12:54 pm at her residence. Mandy was born on February 21, 1970, and raised in Sandusky, OH to Wayne E. Baum and Blanche B. (Shazer) Spurlock who both preceded her in death.

She attended Perkins High School in Sandusky and the EHOVE Career Center where she studied cosmetology. She was found sleeping with the angels after a lengthy illness. She loved Jesus right in the middle of her illness and she had a beautiful passion for crafting and she loved being a Diva.

Amanda is survived by her daughter, Emily Mack, of Lima, OH, sons: Colin (Courtney Burkheimer) Mack and Kyle (Jessi) Mack both of Lima, OH, and daughter, Breanna Reese of Sandusky, OH, her grandchildren, DeOndrea, Emari and Landis (Soles), Harlow Mack and Lydia and Iedan (Young) and a great grandchild on the way. Also surviving are her sister, Sarah Bradley and brother, Kevin Baum along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by the fathers of her children, Jeff Mack and Nolan Reese. Amanda is preceded in death by her husband, Kristan VanBuskirk, a infant son, Daniel Mack, a brother, Wayne Baum II and a niece, Ashley Spurlock.

Her family is so glad that she isn't suffering anymore and is with the Lord.

There will be no services held at this time but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
