Amina Lynn Tate was born March 27, 2009, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Amina transitioned from this earth to be at peace with our Lord on December 9, 2024, after battling cancer for several years. Amina was affectionately known as Mina or Mimi. Amina started her education in preschool at Sister Thea Bowman Catholic Academy then went on to Turner Elementary School. She was a 9th grade student at Propel, Braddock Hills School District. She joined Holy Cross Episcopal Church at a very young age and served as an acolyte for the church. She loved cheerleading and was a proud cheerleader for Woodland Hills Midget Football. She also was a basketball player for Propel Braddock Hills Middle School. Amina was a girl-scout (Brownie). She enjoyed going to summer camp and attended Holy Cross Summer Camp, Calvary Camp and Flying Horse Farms Camp every year. Amina had a summer job with the Learn to Earn Program for Youth. Amina loved babies and really enjoyed spending time making Tik-Tok videos with her siblings and friends. One thing for sure Amina loved to eat, especially curry chicken and rice. Her favorite past-time was ordering from Door-Dash and Uber Eats. She loved giving compliments to others and would talk to anyone. Amina also loved to laugh and make others laugh. Amina leaves to cherish her memory – Parents: Arlene Tate (Sean Jones), Dena Hamilton, Anthony Jetter. Sisters: Damiya Mitchell, Amirah Jetter, Kajmeir, Pia Holly-Bey, Azeira Jetter, Phoenix Jetter. Brothers: Michael Tate, Anthony Jetter, Kason Jetter, Malichi Hamilton. Grand-parents and a host of relatives and friends.
